Still playing with Day 2 homework from the #Stenciled2 online card class....

Card #2 of 2

Black cardstock with glitter paste (ginak iridescent) instead of modeling paste. Mixed the same watercolor inks into the paste.

The "thanks" sentiment is cut out of metallic brushed gold.

Modeling Paste, anyone?

It's Day 7 in my stencil class and I'm still playing with Day 2 homework...

Card #1 of 2
Black cardstock with modeling paste mixed with liquid concentrated water colors. The colors are so intense when used with the slightest amount of water (like very little) so I thought if I used a few drops of the watercolor directly and mix in the paste, it would be bold. It WAS bold until it dried.

Hardest part was figuring out what color the sentiment should be. LOL.

Purple + Yellow = ewww. But recovery accomplished!

I (re)learned something. Purple and yellow make brown. Oops. So I 100% knew where the sentiment was going to be placed. 🤣 But first, glitter paste on top. My first time with glitter paste. It's messy but oh so good.

I.AM.ADDICTED.TO.THIS.PASTE.

Seriously, so much sparkle and shine that everything is getting pasted now. And the brown looks gold with paste on it! Win-win!

Stenciled 2 class at onlinecardclasses.com from @starofmay and @jennifermcguireink (and many guest instructors!). It is a 2 week class and started last Monday but are asynchronous so can watch anytime and multiple times. It was Spring Break here (sadly ending today) and I was away from most of my stuff until today so I finally got to try some of the techniques. The videos are fantastic and the FB group is so full of inspiration and community. Highly recommend, if you want to learn oh so many ways to use stencils on your cards!

Here is one of my day 1 homework assignments: Using pRoF (rotate and flip here) with a triangle stencil (pink fresh mirrored triangles). Also used Memory Box Thanks Jotter Script die.
