A commissioned piece.

A few weeks, a friend asked if I'd make a birthday card for a friend of hers.  The instructions were "something bright, maybe sunflowers or butterflies." Well, I'm not a flower person and have zero sunflower stamps nor do I have any butterflies but I did acquire (aka buy, LOL) this dahlia for THIS EXACT CARD. I made this card first before the red or purple ones shown on my website. Hot Pink and Lime Green. Again, not my colors but them seem to go together.  I've been told that her friend really liked it. YAY!

Stencils are from The Ton Stamps. In addition to these stencils, I *REALLY* like their sentiments - such a clever way to get multiple colors and it's not hard to do! This is the easy expressions set.

Leave me a comment on which you like better: a) Pink/Green b) Red c) Purple?  I'll post a couple more variations in the next few days, too.

I don't really do custom work because the deadlines stress me out but I do have some cards up for sale in my store. Each card is $5 and I'll be adding more as I make them. Take a look!

Thanks for stopping by!
