A couple of weeks ago I was invited to a practice thesis presentation for a high school senior. I had never been to one before and wanted to support her in any way I could so I went. And I took chocolate, because doesn't everyone need chocolate when practicing for a presentation-of-their-life-up-until-this-point? (I am 100% certain she will continue to give presentations in her life and that she will also knock them outta the park just like she did for the practice and her real senior thesis one).
Anyway, back to the card.... I was trying a stencil technique I learned in that #Stenciled2 class from @jennifermcguireink and @starofmay back in March except I was trying to use colors I don't use often. Orange and blue supposedly go together but hmm. Good news orange (we will pretend it is burnt orange) is the color of this student's future university and blue (navy embossing) is the color of her high school. So all tied together even though that wasn't the plan. Ha!
And look... getting better at my brush lettering too. Practice on every envelope....
